What happens at this event?

It’s a whole different experience painting outdoors, and this is especially true in relation to life drawing. Senses are heightened, breeze, birdsong and the changing light all add to the pleasure, And drawing a model in a beautiful garden setting is sublime.

This is the fourth year we’ve run En Plein Air life drawing, and we meet again in The Turrill Sculpture Garden in the heart of Summertown, Oxford on Sunday 10th August. Our session will run for 2.5 hours, starting at 2pm, and we will have a picnic break halfway through, We will provide wine, water…

It was a great event, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully, there will be more events like this future. Peter was a super host and Emily was great to draw!

Really wonderful experience. Very well organised and very thoughtful of Peter to supply cold drinks and snacks. Super venue and easy access. Even the music contributed to a great atmosphere. Very friendly group and wonderful model. Highly recommend.
