Our final meeting of 2024 sees organiser Peter take to the floorboards. He will present a series of short dynamic tension poses from 3 to 5 mins each, followed by a selection of  longer ones, culminating in classical poses inspired by Greek and Roman sculptures.
 
All of this backed-up by the usual wonderful playlist and refreshments.

2-hour guided life drawing with professional male and female models, easels and all materials supplied.  

Our tutor introduces a number of guided exercises to help all skill levels improve their technique and develop their own style of life drawing.  There is no right or wrong way in this class and no judgement.  Working from a nude model, these exercises are suitable for beginners, to give them a basic system that will produce great results, and for experienced life drawers to remind them of some of the essential elements of successful life drawing. 

The session ends with a 45 minute pose that allows the artists to apply what has been learnt.

I am very pleased to announce our Life Drawing Sunday session on Sunday 14th Sept, in Ducklington Village Hall, from 2pm to 5pm.

Easels\*, boards, paper and some dry media are available, included in the price, as well as refreshments and lovely friendly company.

I am delighted to announce the next 3 hour unguided life drawing session in our beautiful village hall in Ducklington, on 14th Sep, starting at 2pm..

Our life drawing Sunday session in September promises to be a cracker with two models posing together in a lovely combination of gestural and more languid poses.  This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to drawing a pair of models, holding complementary poses.  Host Peter will be joined by Eli in a series of short poses, leading up to 2 longer poses to round off the 3 hour session.

We start at 2pm and watch the 3 hours whizz by!

Easels, paper, materials, refreshments and parking are all included in the price, so please join us on Sunday 21st September and make this a special afternoon with some great art!

After some years away from life drawing this was a great way to be re-introduced - very warm helpful reception, no pressure, comfortable venue, good facilities (including parking) and excellent life model.
